In a bid to give more opportunities for candidates to submit their research works and projects: Extension of deadline for submission to KSAAEM to end of February 2019
In view of the growing interest in the Award of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Environmental Management in the Islamic World (KSAAEM) in its current edition (2018-2019) and in a bid to give more opportunities for candidates to submit their research works and projects, the Submission Reception Division at the General Secretariat of the Award, which is managed by ISESCO and organized under the supervision of the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced that the deadline for submissions to the Award which was fixed at 31 December 2018, has been extended to 28 February 2019.
KSAAEM rewards outstanding works carried out by individuals and public or private institutions, bodies and organizations operating in the various fields pertaining to the environment and sustainable development in the Islamic world, in recognition of their substantial contributions to reconciling the environment and socio-economic development through a holistic and integrated approach likely to contribute to the fulfillment of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, in line with the Islamic principles calling for the sustainability of the world’s resources to fulfill Man’s needs, prosperity and role as Allah’s vicegerent on earth.
The total value of the Award amounts to US$ 195,000 covering five categories. Three winners will be selected for each category.
