Dr. Abdelilah Benarafa, Deputy Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), accompanied by Mr. Najib Rhiati, Cultural Adviser to the Director General, and Ms. Ramata Almamy Mbaye, Head of the Social and Human Sciences Sector, extended condolences on the passing of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Gabon, Mr. Michael Moussa Adamou, at the headquarters of the Gabon’s Embassy, in Rabat, on Thursday (January 26, 2023).

On behalf of the ICESCO Director-General and the Organization’s staff, Dr. Benarafa presented condolences to the leadership and people of the Republic of Gabon on the passing of Mr. Adamou, who died on Friday, January 20, 2023, in Libreville.
In his statement in the Embassy’s condolences book, Dr. Benarafa commended the efforts made by the deceased for the advancement of his country, stressing the deep cooperation relations between ICESCO and the Republic of Gabon.
